Bug Bash 2025 • NST×SVYASA Bengaluru • 24-hour hackathon

HACK BREAK BUILD

Bug Bash 2025 is Bengaluru’s overnight student hackathon where aviation, AI, hardware, fintech, health, and immersive media builders sprint side by side. Sign up solo and we’ll slot you into a squad of 3–5 so every team ships something real by dawn.

Tracks unlocked

  • Aviation ops, UAV telemetry, and ground coordination
  • AI copilots, automation, and agent-driven experiences
  • Fintech rails, compliance tooling, and civic inclusion
  • Health, wellness, and assistive diagnostics
  • Sustainability + campus infrastructure intelligence
  • Immersive media, spatial computing, and experience tech

What we provide

  • Help desks all night long - bring your own gear and tap mentors when you’re blocked
  • NST × SVYASA faculty, alumni, and guest engineers rotating across tracks
  • Starter briefs, API access, and resource packs curated for each track
  • Tables, power, Wi‑Fi, and testing space for robotics, IoT, or software squads
  • Showcase stage with feedback from partners, founders, and campus community

Run of show

  • Day 0 evening: badge pickup, kickoff, and track briefings
  • Night sprint: squads lock a mission and cycle through mentor tables
  • Day 1 dawn: stand-ups, test runs, and coaching for pitch craft
  • Finale: demos, partner feedback, prizes, and follow-on support

Why launch Bug Bash now?

Bug Bash 2025 is our first NST × SVYASA hackathon. We wanted a space where students can bring their own gear - laptops, dev boards, notebooks - and still have mentors on standby to help them ship a working demo in 24 hours.

No fluff: you pick the track, set the mission with your squad, and build your version of “next level.” Stay open to feedback, iterate fast, and let the mentors keep you moving.

  • Tracks span aviation, AI, fintech, health tech, sustainability, and immersive media.
  • Engineers, founders, researchers, and storytellers rotate through office hours all night.
  • Checkpoints keep teams accountable while leaving plenty of room for experimentation.

It’s Bug Bash’s first chapter and we want you in the founding crew. Apply for Bug Bash 2025 and help shape the playbook.

Who can join?

Students and recent grads aged 16–22 from any discipline can join. Whether it’s your first hackathon or your tenth, we’ll pair you with teammates whose skills complement yours.

What support will my team get?

Mentors from multiple industries, partner APIs, design reviews, and storytelling sessions. You focus on the build - our crew keeps the momentum and feedback loops flowing.
